The other day my child was dressed up in her Cinderella outfit, a perennial favorite. She comes over to me and says, "Mommy, I don't have a magic wand. Do you think we could get one at the magic wand store?" Oh man, she can crack me up some days. What's your favorite cute kid story of the day?

From my backseat "This is a very special song by M. Ward. 'She's like a wooo-ler-coastew. She makes a dead man scweam. What an unbe-LEE-vible r-iiiide'..." from my favorite boy, aged 2 1/2 (today!) At least he has good taste in music.
My 3 year old once told me she wanted a new mommy and I tried to see if she would look if I helped her. I blogged about it: http://mykindofanonymousblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/new-mommy-time.html . I laughed so hard afterwards, I had to write it down.
